IT’S A NEW BOOK FOR A NEW GENERATION:
I first wrote Peace Within Your Borders as a homeschooling mom and it’s always been one of my favorite books. After it went out of print, I began to feel God urging me to write a new version for today’s homeschooler, only from the “more seasoned” viewpoint of a grandma. Each devotional thought is from the young mother viewpoint, but the Action Point applications and Author’s Notes are from me as I am now–a grandma of ten.
EACH MONTH HAS ITS OWN THEME:
The overall theme of the book is our need to have peace within the confines of our home and school, which isn’t always easy when they’re both in the same location. And we, as parents, need to have peace in our hearts that only comes from God. Inside of that, each month of the school year has a mini-theme of its own.
